Mother. Wife. Yogi. Yoga Teacher.
Lauren Harris found yoga twelve years ago. She realized that the practice offered so much more than a physical workout, and returned to the mat often to help her through many of life's challenges, as well as to celebrate life's joys. Lauren wanted only to share the practice with others so that they, too, might benefit from its offerings. She left her job as a busy corporate attorney and never looked back.
Lauren loves teaching yoga. She works with students of all ages and all levels, from two year olds at Creative Playschool at Fifth Avenue Synagogue to students well into their 70s in group and private classes. She teaches a physically challenging class that is accessible, encouraging all students to deepen their practice in a safe and fun environment. Lauren loves inverting in her own practice and has lead multiple handstand and inversion workshops in New York City.
Lauren and her husband Mitch have two girls, Emmy and Megan. When not on the mat Lauren can often be found handstanding with her kids in Central Park.
